Specialised in Demister Filters

Applications are mainly for the (petro)chemical,gas industry and food industry:

In modern industry wire mesh and products made out of this offer in many cases the best solutions in different applications. Demisters are important issues for the chemical and petrochemical industry.

We deliver customized products in small series and in large series as well. Our technicians ara available for you to develop new solutions. As a matter of course first comes a prototype that you can test extensively. We can deliver Demisters or demister filters in 2 ways: as spare parts for an used filter or we proportion/dimension for you based on the delivered chemical and physical process data.

Technical Information

Material kinds: AISI304(L), AISI316(L), Ni alloys, CU-Ni alloys (Monel), cupper, aluminium, brass and steel Typology: Flat or crimped wire mesh with width betwee 35 and 800mm Shape: ciculair, rectangular or toroidal Density: between 80g/dm³ and 390g/dm³ Wires: usally between 0,10mm en 0,30mm, monofilament or multifilament configuration. Wires are round or flat.

To achieve the best separation with an optimum pressure drop it is very important to proportion/dimension with the most accuracy. And that is what we do for you!

VDR Chemtech is Specialist in Demisters and filtration technology:

  • Woven wire mesh in polyester from 4mm opening to 10µm: Standard colour is white but also blue as required in the food industry is in some meshes available.
  • Stainless steel: some examples are AISI 304, AISI 316 and AISI 430 (Magnetic), but also Monel, Hasteloy and Inconel. We have available from 4 mm opening till 5µm according to different weaving methods.
  • Filters made out of other media like polyimide, polyamide, polypropylene and polyesterneedlefelt.
  • Filters and screens(panels) made out of perforated plate.
  • Stapeble sieve screens.

Out of these materials we develop and produce filters in all sorts and dimensions also pleated. Beside of this we deliver:

  • Stainless steel spiral belts as part of the filter system, which can also be used as a conveyor belt or as separation (architecture).
  • Polypropylene cores for filters in many diameters and thicknesses.
  • Nettings in Polyethylene of polypropylene. Ask for our extended product range.

A complete different discipline are our special liquids for the Plastic industry. These Liquids Plast-Clean and M-Protec V12 are developed to save time and money, to improve Quality, to reduce waste and moreover our products are environmental friendly as well.
